Florida Spa Show Adds Beauty Lineup, Reflecting a Growing Trend

As consumers increasingly link physical, mental, and emotional well-being with outward appearance, the beauty and wellness industries are responding with more integration between the two.

Case in point: the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, and Spa Conference, whose audience includes spa directors, owners, and licensed professionals such as estheticians and massage therapists.

The spa show’s upcoming Sept. 28-29 event in West Palm Beach, FL this year has expanded its class offerings to include trend-forward hair cutting and coloring, men’s grooming, headspa treatments, and scalp care.

It's also added “The Beauty Lab,” a new zone on its expo floor showcasing hair-care products that address skin and scalp health.

While IECSC partners with the International Beauty Show twice a year to offer two-for-one entry to the adjacent spa and beauty shows, its Florida event has been spa only — until now.

IECSC’s parent company, Questex (also the parent company of American Salon) says the introduction of beauty offerings to the spa show explores “the powerful intersection of beauty and wellness.”

Beauty professionals who would get the most out of the revitalized Florida show are licensed, mid- to senior-level practitioners seeking education on the latest trends in hair and skin care, and to expand their service offerings. Also: salon owners looking to incorporate spa-like value adds into their businesses and services.

The global beauty and wellness markets are projected to grow from $1.9 billion in 2025 to $3.3 billion in 2032 — a 68% leap in less than a decade, according to Fortune Business Insights.
