4 Transitional Blonde Shades on Trend for Autumn

Autumn blondes, assemble: award-winning U.K. master haircolorist Seung Ki Baek is breaking down four of the hottest transitional blondes he's seeing this season.

Baek — a multi-winning British Hairdressing Awards honoree, Rush Artistic Team member, and recent Colour World Genius Awards winner — gives the deets about this autumn's trending blonde tones along with a few of the celebrities sporting the simmering shades.

BISCOTTI BLONDE

This tawny bronde is perfect for the transition into the cooler months, having recently been seen on Margot Robbie. The versatility means this shade can work for most color palettes, with a cool acorn base and subtle blonde pieces blended throughout the hair.

Biscotti Blonde can be effortlessly personalized to suit individual features and skin tone without being too much of a change, whilst harmonizing perfectly with the change in seasons.

This is an ideal color for those not wanting to commit to the upkeep of brighter blondes, or for someone transitioning for a darker shade and just wants to try something new!

CHANTILLY BLONDE

This creamy vanilla hue is perfect for those wanting bright and blonde for the autumn, whilst maintaining subtle warmth throughout.

Chantilly Blonde is an ultra-dimensional, soft platinum shade that has been sported by Rosé, Beyoncé, and Sabrina Carpenter, and I can understand why! It’s perfect for warmer skin tones as it makes the blonde pop. If your client has fairer skin, this color may make them look washed out.

To achieve this shade, blend a few highlights and/ or lowlights to add dimension to the base color. To preserve this creamy blonde hue, make sure to use to use a champagne-colored toner to give the hair that extra oomph!

CREAMED HONEY

This shade took the hair world by storm after Bella Hadid debuted it at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, courtesy of celebrity colorist Jacob Schwartz just 24 hours earlier. The luxurious warm blonde  looks expensive, glossy, and perfectly pristine.

The sun-kissed color is soft and glamorous, blending seamlessly with a naturally lighter base tone, whilst the addition of lighter ribbons are used to emphasize richness and brightness.

To achieve this subtle, sophisticated look, it’s all about color placement and ensuring the highlights are applied strategically throughout the hair for that rich, glowing effect.

Adding a super subtle shadow root will add depth and dimension to the creamed honey color.

SYRUP BLONDE

I can guarantee that syrup blonde will be autumn's sweetest shade. This maple hue has been sported by the likes of Matilda Djerf, Rosie-Huntington Whiteley, and Jennifer Lawrence.

Syrup Blonde is an intensely glossy, rich blonde that seamlessly blends darker shades into a blonde base. It's a mix of warmer beige tones and bright golden ribbons, with a few lowlights blended throughout to achieve that natural sun-kissed effect.

Thanks to its low-maintenance upkeep, Syrup Blonde is a great option for those gradually wanting to darken their color as we move towards the colder months.

Natural roots blend right in with the darker hues, whilst not straying too far from bright shades — making it a great transitional blonde from summer to autumn.
