Vegas was lit — and so was the shopping.
At the industry-only International Beauty Show, thousands of beauty professionals and business owners swarmed the booths, chasing can't-miss prices, trendsetting finds, and serious deals.
Sales were buzzing around the expo floor, but some products barely hit the shelves before flying right off again. Here are some of the hottest-ticket items.
Actiiv Remedy Dandruff Shampoo Treatment
The Pyrithione Zinc, jojoba oil and coconut formulation for this dandruff-busting, scalp-balancing shampoo was the lure for showgoers to buy it all up by day 3.

Amplify the Stylist Barracuda Comb Clip
All the brand reps had to do to sell this ingenious sectioning clip was get hair pros to test-drive it on a handy mannequin head and see how accurate, precise, and clean their sections could be. (They didn’t have to mention that it’s great for teasylighting, too.)

Barbudo Beard Oils
Though bearded customers were buying up these lightweight, nourishing oils, their significant others were the real reason these sold out. It generally took just one whiff of the line’s appealing seasonal and signature aromas to move shoppers from browsing to buying.

Bass Brushes Shave Sets
Though the brand is renowned for its natural-material hair brushes, it’s the tasteful shave sets that buyers scooped up. They liked the $100 price point on all three styles, with just about all of them sold as gifts, Bass reps said.

Lashbox LA Superhero Purple Iconic Bond Professional Lash Adhesive; Lash Alchemist Smart Bond Technology Adhesive; Satin Silver 90 Degree Tweezer
These three workhorses ended up most often in lash techs’ bags due to the ease of application and staying power of the adhesives, and the comfortable grip and versatility of the tweezer.

Sofgel Pro All-in-One Tip Adhesive Gel
Nail artists went gaga over this multi-purpose gel that works as a base coat and can be used for rhinestones, 3D nail art, or encapsulation.

Gummy Professional Braid Control Huge Hold Shining Gel
Once braiders dipped into the tester for this best-selling firm-hold styling gel and got to feel its smooth, lightweight consistency for themselves, they inevitably walked off with a jar (or two).

Have a Nice Hair Day HAIRSTYLIST 5-Panel Hats
Beauty pros swarmed over all the fun offerings from this brand, specifically the camo hat — a limited-edition style available only at the International Beauty Show-Las Vegas. We didn’t have to take owner Piper De Young’s word for it: we spotted a ton of them out in the wild (including on Salt Lake City stylist Jayden White, shown).

Wahl Vapor Clipper
The much-anticipated release of Wahl’s Vapor got a lot of fanfare when it launched at the beginning of the year. Judging from the clipper’s brisk sales at special International Beauty Show prices, the hype hasn’t died down.

The Hair Broker 2mm Extension Bead Spool
The beads themselves were a draw: silicone-lined on the inside in the same color as the outside, so no clumsy color mismatch when squeezed. But it was their handy spool dispenser that had extension artists buying them up: so much quicker than fishing them out of a jar.

PLA Nue Hard & Soft Wax
What made waxing techs clear out PLA’s inventory of both hard & soft options? The formulas — made in the U.K. with quality ingredients — and the smooth, easy consistency for both, brand reps said.

Rolda Pre-Styling Sculpting Hair Spray
Just a quick spritz of this lightweight formula on damp hair adds loads of texture, hydration, and frizz control. A bunch of its buyers were barbers who said it's a reliable retail seller in their shops — plus a steady stream of new converts lured by its lush scent.

Créé Cauter Mother Cell Treatment Steps 1+2
Créé's demos were a big hit on the exhibit floor, and once showgoers peeped the glassy shine and softness after brand ambassadors used this 1-2 combo on their models' hair, they were convinced.
