Just in time for summer weddings comes these surprisingly easy, yet sophisticated hairstyles for brides, attendants, and guests!
Award-winning Spanish special-event stylist, educator, and creative director Juanmy Medialdea shares his step-by-steps for the looks in his new collection, "Coquette Brides and Chanel Brides."
Coquette Ponytail - 2 Ways

Step 1: Prepare the hair by adding texturizing powder to the roots to give them lift. Curl the mid-lengths and ends with 1.25" curling wand.s to create shape.
Step 2: Take a side section up to above the ear and twist it. Then, bring it to the center of the head and secure with a flat pin, using two fingers below the crown as a reference.
Step 3: Gently open the twist with small pinches and define the lines to achieve a more voluminous and natural texture.

Step 4: Repeat the process on the opposite side, creating symmetry in the hairstyle.
Step 5: Apply soft-hold texturizing powder to the loose hair, and backcomb the underside to add volume.
Step 6: Place and smooth the hair, allowing the volume to remain intact. Spritz with firm-hold hairspray.

Step 7: For Look 1 - place a hair accessory under the twist.
Step 8. For Look 2 - gather the loose hair into a ponytail about 2-3 inches from the nape. Pinch and pull the ponytail gently to add some fluffiness and carefully define the lines. Spritz with firm-hold hairspray. Add a hair accessory to achieve the final look.
Low Knot

Step 1: Prepare the hair by adding texturizing powder to the roots to give them lift. Curl the mid-lengths and ends with 1.25" curling wand.
Step 2: Take a side section up to above the ear and twist it. Then, bring it to the center of the head and secure with a flat pin, using two fingers below the crown as a reference.
Step 3: Repeat the previous step on the opposite side.

Step 4: Take another section and create a low ponytail.
Step 5: Place a small piece of padding over the hair tie of the ponytail.
Step 6: Fold the ponytail inward and secure it with a hair tie to maintain the shape.

Step 7: Cover the padding with the leftover strand, using pins to help. This way, we create a knot effect and anchor it underneath with flat pins (placement shown).
Step 8: Finish the knot by cleaning up and defining the lines. Add a touch of firm-hold hairspray.
False Bob

Step 1: Apply a thermal product to the mid-lengths and ends. Then, curl the entire hair with 19mm curling wand, alternating directions to create a more natural wave effect.
Step 2: Define each curl individually using serum and a texturizer or spray wax.
Step 3: Divide the hair into three sections: center, right side, and left side. Secure each section with a clip.

Step 4: Determine the height where we want the fake bob to sit (we recommend just below the nape of the neck). Create a braid with the central section, starting loosely and tightening as we move towards the ends. Secure the braid with a hair tie.
Step 5: Repeat the braiding process on the right side and then on the left side.
Step 6: Take the central braid and form a hollow ring from the ends to the roots. Secure it with two long crossed hairpins.

Step 7-8: Repeat the process with the side braids.
Step 9: Loosen a few strands from the front and, if necessary, release some fine sections on top for a more natural and effortless finish.
Twisted Bun

Step 1: Prepare the hair by adding texturizing powder to the roots to lift them. Curl the mid-lengths and ends with 1.25" curling wand.
Step 2: Create a clean ponytail, not too tight, at the middle of the nape.
Step 3: Place a second hair tie on the ponytail, about 3-4 inches below the first one.

Step 4: Using the center of the head as a reference, create an opening above the first hair tie. Use a ponytail needle to pass the ponytail through this opening, as shown. Don't pull all the way through. This creates a hollow ring under the hair tie.
Step 5: Gently open the hollow ring created and adjust both sides to make it symmetrical.
Step 6: Apply a little soft-hold texturizing powder to add volume and backcomb the top layer of the ponytail.

Step 7: Bring the ponytail upwards and, as in step 4, reintroduce it through the opening to wrap the top section. This creates a twisted bun effect. Smooth the surface and secure with pins.
Step 8: Finish the updo by spritzing with firm-hold hairspray. Add a hair accessory for a final sophisticated touch.
