PHYTO’s newest launch, INTENSE CURLS, is a 4-product line created for very curly to coily hair and formulated to define and hydrate curls without weighing them down.
The new collection is for curl types 3b to 4c. It's a follow-up to PHYTO’s CURLS product line released earlier this year and created for curl types 2a to 3a.
In launching the INTENSE CURLS products, the brand notes that “curly and coily hair — though undeniably gorgeous — requires specific attention.
“Naturally drier and more fragile, with open cuticles prone to frizz and humidity damage, these hair types demand the right balance of hydration and nutrition.”
The new line’s ingredients include plant-based sugars that reshape, smooth, and retain moisture; and shea butter, cocoa butter, and sweet almond oil to restore softness, flexibility, and strength.
As with all PHYTO products, the INTENSE CURLS line replaces water in its formulations with white mallow extract to intensify shine. The brand promises defined, frizz-free curls for 24 hours.
INTENSE CURLS consists of:
Nourishment Shampoo — ultra creamy, nutrient dense, formulated to gently remove styling residue;
Nourishment Mask — a weekly treatment with the consistency of whipped cream that's created to detangle, nourish the hair fiber, prevent breakage, and sculpt curls;
Definition Rich Cream — a styling cream infused with cocoa and shea butters for lightweight curl definition;
Anti-Frizz Gel — a gel-in-water treatment enriched with organic aloe vera and the brand's proprietary NutraCurl complex; locks in moisture and nutrition and provides for long-term curl definition and frizz reduction.
